Delatite Winery (Upper Goulburn) – Well known for producing one of the better Gewürztraminers in Australia.
“Dead Man’s Hill” Gewürztraminer 2004 – Spices and musk on the fresh floral nose. Perhaps lacking some length and intensity that I would expect to find in this wine. 88/100
Riesling 2005 – Floral nose with some decent minerality on the palate. Probably best drunk young with structure not especially strong. 87/100
Sauvignon Blanc 2005 – Herbs and gooseberry with some good intensity on the palate. Let down by some sourness on the palate and a short finish. 86/100
Chardonnay 2005 – Fruity and fresh in an uncomplicated early drinking style. 86/100
“Late Picked” Riesling 2004 – Plenty of sweetness without the acid to balance it out. Length is slightly short as well. 84/100
